Irene is a communications professional specializing in sustainability related issues and stakeholder engagement. Leveraging 18 years of experience having held leadership positions in organizations from various industries such as advertising, NGO/fundraising & marketing/ PR, she has used CSR disciplines in both the business and civil society sectors. Irene works with organizations of all sizes to maximize the impact of their sustainability strategies by communicating how these are making a difference in their business and our world.

In a career that spans over 25 years, Avyie has also worked as an Editor-in-Chief of lifestyle magazines and a Food & Travel Editor for SPP Media. She was Head of the department of Student Affairs at Intercollege/University of Nicosia, Corporate Communications Manager at Nielsen and a Production Executive at Logos TV.
She is a personal branding strategist for professionals who seek to optimize their image, a Speaker’s Coach for Tedx events and a Career Performance Coach to professionals who aim to reach peak performance.
Avyie is a certified Mediator for business-to-business and business-to-client negotiations/disputes. She is also a certified Business Coach.

HEATHER BAKER IS THE FOUNDER OF BAKER THOMPSON ASSOCIATES.
After over 20 years working as a secretary and then PA, Heather pioneered the training of Office Professionals when she established Baker Thompson Associates in 2000. She now enables PAs, EAs and administrators of all levels around the world to achieve their potential for their career development and the success of their organisation.
Her training is informal and relaxed and is aimed at building delegates’ confidence and appreciation of their value, as well as enhancing their skills. Courses are endorsed by the Institute of Administrative Management and CPD Certified, whether face to face or online.

She has been married to Ian since August 1979 and they have two adult daughters, Ailsa and Erin. Heather and Ian spend their free time fell walking, reading, watching movies and ballroom and Latin dancing. Ian is also a director of the company. Ailsa is a dance teacher and choreographer in Dubai and Erin is a Customer Services Assistant in Cirencester, UK, and dances for fun!
